About the author — Sparx Elec

What I do here

I write practical electrical guides about installations, safety, tools and equipment. I use field experience to frame the questions, then check each guide against sources that apply to its stated country.

Experience

I have trained as an electrician and worked on real sites: consumer units, electrical renovations, EV charging points, lighting, home automation and diagnostic jobs, in residential and commercial settings, single-phase and three-phase. I founded Sparx Elec to share practical, field-tested electrical guidance with clear diagrams and verified technical sources.

What this magazine is not

This is an editorial publication, not a local electrical service for the countries covered. A guide can help you understand a situation or prepare questions, but it does not replace an inspection or the advice of a qualified local electrician.

How to assess a guide

Check the country shown on the article, its sources and its verification date. Local rules, supply systems and professional requirements can differ materially from one country to another.
